Arizona Healthcare Advocacy Coalition

The Arizona Healthcare Advocacy Coalition (AHAC) was formed in 2019 by several physician represented groups to ensure that physicians continue to compete in the policymaking process. The Coalition is focused on protecting the rights of physicians, while ensuring that Arizonans receive the best care possible through the most appropriate specialty available.

Who We Are

AHAC is comprised of various physician groups who have one goal in mind, ensuring that Arizona’s physicians and patients continue to have a voice in the policymaking process.

A joint effort between the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) and the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA), AHAC provides a forum for collaboration with and between key healthcare stakeholders to advance the health of all Arizonans, mobilize participation when needed, and serve as a community network in the sharing of information.

Coalition members will be AHAC’s strength — with its diversity of highly respected member organizations, experienced leadership, and collective expertise, the objective is to make AHAC a powerful voice in the Arizona healthcare community.

In an increasingly complex political environment, physicians across every spectrum of practice must come together and amplify their voices or run the risk of being drowned out. AHAC’s objective is to drive the conversation, keep the healthcare community informed, and pursue collaborative advocacy efforts on behalf of Arizona physicians and the patients they care for.
